Mushroom Bowl
A wide shallow bowl elevated on a single round column pedestal, the silhouette reading as a simplified mushroom form. The bowl edge flares outward from the pedestal, giving the piece its characteristic horizontal emphasis.
The dark matte finish throughout absorbs light and keeps the object from competing with whatever is placed inside it. The form is simple and structural, which makes it versatile as a surface vessel or display piece without requiring any particular arrangement.
The bowl sits at a useful height above the surface below it. Works well holding small objects, dried botanicals, or left empty.
